German Onshore Wind Tender Undersubscribed

The results from the German onshore wind tender on 1 May were undersubscribed, however, submitted capacity by bidders reached the highest volume since at least 2017, Bnetza data showed.

  • Germany offered 2.795GW in the last onshore wind tender and received 197 offers for a combined capacity of 2.485GW.
  • Bnetza awarded 189 bids for a total of 2.379GW.
  • The average achieved price stood at 7.33ct/kWh, compared with 7.35kWh in the previous round.
