EUROZONE T-BILL ISSUANCE
EUROZONE T-BILL ISSUANCE: Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Greece and
Slovakia issued T-bills this week with supply coming to E29.8bn compared to
E21.7bln last week.
- RECAP: Slovakia was the first to issue on Monday with a sale of 3- and 9-month
bills for E586mn. Germany followed with a sale of 6- and 11-month bubills,
allotting a combined E4.7b. France sold a combined E8.98bn of
3-/6-/12-month BTFs. Italy sold Oct 30, 2020 and Jul 14, 2020 BOTs on Tuesday
for a combined E10.5bn. The Netherlands sold a combination of 3-/9-/12-month
DTCs for E3.74bn on the same day. Greece then placed E1.3bn of 6-month bills on
Wednesday.
- CASH FLOWS: There will be E16.4bn in redemptions which will net cash flows at
E13.4bn for the week.
