Germany To Receive Freeport LNG Cargo On 3 March

Germany is set to receive its first cargo from the Freeport LNG terminal, ship data show.

  • The Freeport LNG terminal restarted exporting LNG cargoes in mid-February for the first time since a fire and explosion in June 2022 forced a shutdown of the facility.
  • The terminal is still processing towards a restart with the export of partial cargoes from fuel tanks. Natural gas deliveries to the Freeport LNG terminal averaged 0.45bcf/day last week, Bloomberg data show.
