Germany’s Neustadt Refinery Partly Halted After Fire Last Week

Bayernoil’s Neustadt refinery in southern Germany has lowered output since Friday after a fire at the facility damaged a mild hydrocracker unit, which primarily produces distillates according to Argusmedia.

  • Distillate production was already curtailed in September at Neustadt because of two damaged units.
  • The refinery partly shut down in July because of a fire.
