Germany’s Wilhelmshaven LNG To Start Operations This year

Germany’s FLNG Terminal Wilhelmshaven is scheduled to start operations by the end of this year, Uniper CEO Klaus-Dieter Maubach said.

  • "The only thing that could stop it would be (adverse) weather”, Maubach said.
  • The project can deliver up to 7.5bcm/yr, equivalent to around 8.5% of Germany’s gas requirements per year.
  • The terminal is one of the five planned floating terminals to be installed in Germany to secure future gas supplies.
