As we highlighted yesterday, Gilt underperformance vs Bunds has seen the 10Y UK / German spread reach levels last seen in Oct 2022. Versus 207bp currently, we saw a higher daily close on Sep 27, 2022 (227bp), but spreads ended that week lower. If Bund and Gilt yields close at current levels, it would be the widest weekly closing spread since June 1991.
