Gilts are trading a little stronger....>

GILT SUMMARY
GILT SUMMARY: Gilts are trading a little stronger on `Meaningful Vote` Tuesday,
with a defeat of PM May's Brexit deal widely expected.
- The Mar 19 Gilt future is up 13 ticks at 123.04, with strength across the cash
curve: The 2-Yr yield is down 2.5bps at 0.798%, 5-Yr is down 2.7bps at 0.931%,
10-Yr is down 2.5bps at 1.272%, and 30-Yr is down 2.2bps at 1.801%.
- Vote likely around 2000-2100GMT. The bill requires 320 votes to pass, and
expectations are broadly that there will be 200-220 in favour.

- Brexit headlines galore, of course. Telegraph cited Cabinet ministers saying
May will have to stand down if she suffers heavy defeat.
- A German gov't spokesperson threw cold water on a Sun report that May secured
last-minute concessions from German C'llr Merkel.
- MP Hilary Benn's amendment - which had it passed, would have prevented the
vote from going ahead - has been withdrawn, as the Labour Party did not want to
spare May from a potential humiliation on the loss.
- Dearth of data Tuesday, all eyes on the Brexit vote.
