GILTS
GILTS: Gilts have not rallied quite as much as German Bunds so far this morning
with yields circa 0.5bp lower across the curve, maybe more weighed by continued
climb in commodity prices overnight. Markets eyeing todays CBI trends survey and
public sector borrowing numbers. 
- Sterling has continued to slip lower vs the US Dollar but so far remains
steady vs the Euro. 
- There has been some unsubstantiated rumours of BoE Governor Carney speaking at
a dinner tonight, however, so far I can only see that he is speaking on Friday.
- Last night PM May's office rejected calls on Monday for the prime minister to
stake her position as prime minister on Britain's departure from the EU's
customs union after Brexit. The calls are starting to get louder from both sides
of the Brexit debate and things could come to a head within the next few months.
