GILT SUMMARY: Gilts have opened Wednesday a bit stronger, with the Sep8 future
up 8 ticks at 123.09.
- The curve has bull flattened a little, with 2-Yr yields down 0.1bps at 0.733%,
5-Yr down 0.1bps at 1.037%, and 10-Yr down 0.8bps at 1.444%.
- Short Sterling futures are a little weaker, with White through Red contracts
off one tick.
- A Bloomberg article this morning suggested that people familiar with Brexit
matters have noted that British & EU officials now see mid-Nov as the new deal
deadline, similar to recent reports made in the Telegraph.
- DMO on Tuesday afternoon announced Stg3.0bln size for the 1.0% Apr-24 Gilt
re-open on 6 Sep. 
- Light data calendar the rest of the week: Thursday sees BoE net consumer
lending & M4 money supply, Friday sees DMO announces Oct-Dec Gilt Issuance
calendar.
