GILTS: Gilts have reversed small opening gains and coming under some selling
pressure as markets look ahead to some key events later today and tomorrow.
10-yr Gilt yield last 1bp higher at 1.257% with yield curve currently bear
flattening as ultra long-end remains anchored.
- The EU summit get underway today and according to the BBC PM May has been
warned  time in running out to secure a Brexit deal and that talks need to
intensify. With no progress made on the Irish border issue, Brexit is not
expected to be discussed at the summit.
- In the UK data is rather light with Bank of England Agents summary of Business
conditions released at 0930BST. However BoE Haldane is scheduled to speak at
Academy of Social Sciences Annual Lecture 1430BST.
- UK markets eyes will also be on flash German and Italy inflation data.
