GILT SUMMARY: - Gilts have sold off across the curve this morning. 
- The benchmark 2-year gilt trades at 0.747% up from a low of 0.721%, while the
10-year has pushed up to 1.459% from 1.434%.
-  The curve has flattened during the morning session on the back of the short
end underperforming. The 2s10s spread has narrowed to 70.4bps from 71.8bps while
the 2s30s has traded down to 103.4bps from 104.7bps.
- There has been a slew of Brexit-related headlines this morning, including:
- The UK and EU are reported to be considering dropping the October deadline for
reaching a Brexit deal.
- Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab has accused the EU's chief Brexit negotiator
Michel Barnier of not making himself available for talks.
- UK Prime Minister Theresa May has indicated that she will fight former Foreign
Secretary Boris Johnson in the event of a leadership challenge.
- Short sterling futures are 1.0-2.0 ticks lower.
