Global Airline Capacity Down 2% on the Week: OAG

Global Airline Capacity is set to fall to 104.9m seats in the week commencing Oct. 30, according to OAG data.

  • This is down 2% on the previous week, and around 2% below the same period in 2019.
  • International capacity is down to 41m seats on the week, down 1.4% on 2019 levels. Meanwhile, domestic capacity is down 2.3% on the same period in 2019.
  • Weekly falls are driven by reductions in North America and Europe with North America falling by 4% on the week.
