Global diesel producers are responding to global tightness by exporting record high volumes of diesel according to Vortexa.
- Asia liftings observed in August and September reached multi-year highs, notably from India, South Korea and Malaysia.
- Middle East diesel liftings have torqued up this year compared to previous years, with a 30% increase from Jan-Sept 2022 compared to Jan – Sept 2019.
- High US diesel exports have remained despite very low PADD 1 and PADD 2 inventories.
- Russian flows remain steady despite redirections in flows towards “friendly” countries.
