EQUITIES: Global stocks/futures have slipped from Monday's highs, but remain up
on the week.
- Asian equities closed mixed, with Japan's NIKKEI down 99.75 pts or -0.44% at
22614.69 and the TOPIX down 5.44 pts or -0.34% at 1571.71. China's SHANGHAI
closed up 12.456 pts or +0.37% at 3345.337 and the HANG SENG ended 363.5 pts
lower or -1.38% at 25975.66
- European stocks are down, with the German Dax down 162.18 pts or -1.27% at
12545.82, FTSE 100 down 73.84 pts or -1.17% at 6206.04, CAC 40 down 52.32 pts or
-1.03% at 5018.15 and Euro Stoxx 50 down 37.5 pts or -1.12% at 3305.75.
- U.S. futures are pointing lower, with the Dow Jones mini down 237 pts or
-0.91% at 25877, S&P 500 mini down 23.25 pts or -0.73% at 3142.5, NASDAQ mini
down 45.25 pts or -0.43% at 10542.5.
