GOLD: Gold has drifted lower in early Asia trade this week, although spot has
stuck to a tight range, last -$6/oz on the day at $1,723/oz, with bulls still
fixed on familiar key resistance at $1,747.4/oz. Initial support located at
$1,707.4/oz, the April 23 low.
- Generally positive global developments re: COVID-19 (at least in net terms)
likely applying some pressure early this week.
