Goldman Ups End-22 Tsy, Bund, Gilt Yield Forecasts

Goldman Sachs has revised up end-2022 bond yield forecasts to reflect shifts in "front-loading of hikes, higher terminal rate pricing, and rebuilding bond risk premia".

  • 10Y USTs: 3.3% (from 2.7%), and 3.15% end-2023 - "with real rates remaining the primary driver of the move higher in yields"
  • 10Y Bunds 1.25% (from 0.75%), and 1.50% end-2023
  • 10Y Gilts 2.25% (from 1.95%), and 2.30% end-2023
