  • Govt considering using a floating wheat-export tax from June 1 according to inside sources
  • Tax could be 70% of the amount that remains after $200 is deducted from the export price of 1 ton of wheat
  • Could also set a floating tax for barley exports from June 1
  • Taxes would replace export levies that Russia is due to implement from Feb. 15
