Guyana Output Could Rise to 1.6mbpd by 2030

OIL

Guyana crude output is forecast to rise to 1.6mbpd by 2030 and then plateau around that level for roughly 10 years according to Goldman Sachs on Monday.

  • Output at that level would be a bigger source of oil than Nigeria and every other OPEC member outside the Middle East.
  • Crude exports from Guyana more than doubled last year to 279kbpd according to Kpler with Exxon projections of future output to around 1.2mb/d by the end of 2027. Output is expected to increase to 600kbpd by 2024 with another 250kbpd due online in 2025.
