WTI futures are within touching distance of their range highs seen on Monday at

$54.24. A close to the week above here would improve the outlook and open the

Nov 16 high at $57.96 ahead of the 200-dma at $64.44. Bears need to break below

$50 where the 21-dma also resides. Below here would bring the Dec 24 low at

$42.36 back into focus.
