GERMAN PRESS: Handelsblatt newspaper looks at the ongoing Grand Coalition talks,
which are set to conclude tomorrow.
- one of the sticking points had been immigration, specifically re-uniting
families but Handelsblatt points out that the SPD have suggested a compromise
"politician Burkhard Lischka suggested a compromise of 40,000 newcomers". This
is roughly equalt to the number of visa for relatives from Syrian refugees over
recent years. 
- The newspaper says that the original plans for discussions was to present
results by Friday at the latest but deliberations could last late into Friday
night.
- Negotiations appear to be going well "In addition to financial and tax policy,
the topics that will probably be finalised on Thursday include the areas of
migration, Europe, social affairs, health, the labor market as well as home
affairs and law."
