DOLLAR: Heading into the Fed rate decision later today, last Friday's CFTC
update keeps MNI's USD FX Positioning Indicator close to the lowest levels since
early 2018. - The recent recovery in USD shorts has pressured the indicator,
with total combined shorts now north of 20,000 contracts for the first time
since July last year. Despite longs recovering after the dip across March,
they're still bumping along close to the average YTD level. See following chart:
