GILT SUMMARY: Health Secretary Matt Hancock this morning stated that rebel Tory
MPs will be unable to prevent a no-deal Brexit from occurring. 
- A new poll conducted by Lord Ashcroft Polls indicating that support for
Scottish independence stands at 46% compared to 43% that want to remain in the
UK. SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon has so far held off from calling for a second
referendum, but a more decisive move in the polls would provide motivation to do
so. 
- The Sep-19 gilt future trades at 134.06, up 57 ticks from Friday's close and 5
ticks off the day's low; L-H: 134.01-134.31.
- Gilts have rallied with yields 1-5bps lower on the day. Cash yields (Last / 1d
chg / L..H): 2Y (0.4187% / -0.8bp / 0.3906%...0.4191%); 5Y (0.3151% / -2.1bp /
0.2923%...0.316%); 10Y (0.5115% / -3.8bp / 0.4897%...0.5125%); 30Y (1.1961% /
-4.5bp / 1.185%...1.2%). The curve has bull flattened: 2s10s (8.6bp / -2.2bp /
8.6bp..11.4bp); 2s30s (77.1bp / -3bp / 77.1bp..81.3bp).
- The short sterling futures strip has flattened: W (broadly + 0.0/3.0 ticks
higher); R (+ 3.0/4.5 ticks); G (+ 5.0/6.0 ticks); B (+ 6.0/7.0 ticks)
