Henry Hub Bounces with Increase in Flows to LNG Terminals

US Henry Hub is recovering after bouncing from a low of just above 2$/mmbtu yesterday with an increase in flows to LNG export terminals and despite comfortable supplies.

    • US Natgas MAY 23 up 3.1% at 2.24$/mmbtu
  • Total deliveries to US LNG export terminals are today estimated up at a record 14.69bcf/d according to Bloomberg data. The increase has been driven by higher supplies to Freeport and a recovery in flows to Corpus Christi following a dip on 5 April.
  • US lower 48 dry gas production was yesterday estimated at 100.8bcf/d with flows recovering over the Easter weekend following a dip last week due to pipeline maintenance.
  • Domestic demand is today estimated near normal at 63.8bcf/d according to Bloomberg. The latest NOAA two week outlook shows a mixed picture across the US.
  • Export flows to Mexico are at back to 5.6bcf/d after dipping slightly lower over last weekend.
