Henry Hub Plunges on Freeport Shut Down

Front month Henry Hub is extending earlier declines after initially trading higher on the day, weighed on by headlines suggesting Freeport is shutting one unit at the export facility for one month.

    • US Natgas FEB 24 down -4.6% at 2.45$/mmbtu
    • US Natgas JUL 24 down -1.9% at 2.56$/mmbtu
  • Feedgas supplies to US LNG export terminals is today up to 14.2bcf/d with a recovery in supplies to Freeport and Calcasieu Pass according to Bloomberg. Deliveries to Freeport stood at 1.42bcf/d today, compared with the 30-day moving average of 1.63bcf/d.
