HUF: EUR/HUF Briefly Dips Below 395.00 Following Rate Decision

  • Solid dip in EURHUF on the back of the rate decision, with the cross briefly falling below the 395.00 handle. While most analysts had foreseen the 25bp move, a minority had been expecting a larger 50bp cut instead (5 out of the 25 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg). The 20-day EMA at 392.44 marks initial support for EURHUF.
