Huge moves as Europeans get to their desks

Some big moves over the last few minutes - no real headline triggers but it seems to be timed with Europeans getting to their desks.

  • TY1 has jumped from 115-20+ to hit a high of 116-17+ almost a whole point move higher over the last 20 minutes. We are now off the high at 116-12, but still now 0-17+ higher on the day after being lower through Asian trading.
  • Bund futures over a point higher in the same period from around 138.00 to a higher of 139.36 (now at 139.30).
  • USDJPY has moved in line with yields falling from just below 131.80 to a low of 131.297.
