Hungary Receiving Full Gas Supplies from Turkstream

Hungary is receiving full volumes of Russian gas after the Turkstream pipeline returned from maintenance this week according to Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto.

  • "Supplies of natural gas from Russia through Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia to Hungary resumed on Monday from 7 pm," he said.
  • Hungary will receive 100% of the gas it has on long term contracts with Gazprom according to Szijjarto. Hungary is receiving a reduction in gas flows because of the Nord Stream 1 issues are impacting flows to Hungary via Austria but Hungary is in negotiations with Gazprom to compensate those flows.
