HUNGARY: Virag Says Room for October Rate Cut Has Narrowed

According to people familiar with the matter, he cited next month’s US elections as well as escalating tensions in the Middle East to an investor call.
  • MTI report that the National Economy Ministry and the Central Statistics Office (KSH) signed a cooperation agreement on establishing a professional and technical framework for exchanging information. "Thanks to the bilateral agreement, faster data exchange contributes to the more efficient implementation of government decisions and measures, underpins them and facilitates their preparation," the state secretary for employment policy at the National Economy Ministry said.
