ICE Brent Option Expiry – Friday 25th November 2022 at 18:30GMT close
- A total of 360mbbls of open Jan23 options positions are currently due to expire on Friday 25th November. The futures settlement is an hour early at 18:30GMT on Friday due to the US holiday. Current open interest is 206k for calls and 154k for puts.
- The aggregate open interest across all Brent options is 1.393m calls and 0.860m puts contracts.
- Open interest is mostly on the puts around the current market levels with the biggest nearby strikes of interest at 85$/bbl and 87$/bbl.
