IMF Board Expected To Discuss First Staff Review

  • Argentina’s economy grew less than forecast in the first quarter as the agricultural sector contracted and exports dropped.
    • Gross domestic product expanded 0.9% from the previous quarter, compared to the median forecast of 1% of economists surveyed by Bloomberg. The economy grew 6% from the previous year, down from 8.9% in the last three months of 2021 and also slightly below the median estimate. (BBG)
