Important clarification piece run in The Times...>

UK
UK: Important clarification piece run in The Times this morning, reflecting on
the December decision from the ECJ: "It's all or nothing: Article 50 can't be
revoked temporarily"
The Times writes: The possibility of a temporary revocation of Article 50 was
foreseen and ruled out. "The EU is not stupid," a senior official said. "If
Britain wants to revoke then the European council will want a clear commitment,
in good faith, that it is going to remain in the EU."
The most likely option to buy time for the government and the House of Commons
is an extension of the Article 50 process beyond March 29. Such a decision,
following a British request, must have the unanimous support of all 27 EU
states. If the reason for delay is to get the withdrawal agreement across the
line or to soften Brexit, then most in Brussels believe the answer would be
"yes".
