GILT SUMMARY: In response to earlier comments from Matt Hancock in which the
health secretary stated that no-deal could now not be stopped, PM Boris Johnson
reiterated his commitment to take the UK out of the EU by October 31.
- Opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn stated that his party will do
everything possible to stop a no-deal. He also claimed that Labour would call a
confidence vote 'when we can win it'.
- The Sep-19 gilt future trades at 134.06, up 57 ticks from Friday's close and
15 ticks off the day's low; L-H: 133.91-134.31.
- Gilts have rallied with yields 0-5bps lower on the day. Cash yields (Last / 1d
chg / L..H): 2Y (0.4237% / -0.3bp / 0.4118%...0.4313%); 5Y (0.3156% / -2.1bp /
0.3032%...0.3249%); 10Y (0.5111% / -3.8bp / 0.4988%...0.5232%); 30Y (1.1926% /

- The curve has bull flattened: 2s10s (7.8bp / -3.1bp / 7.7bp..9.5bp); 2s30s

- The short sterling futures strip has flattened: W (+ 1.0/3.0 ticks); R (+
3.0/4.0 ticks); G (+ 4.5/6.5 ticks); B (+ 6.0/8.0 ticks)
