India To Face Difficult To Buy Russian Crude Amid Higher Prices

India will have difficulties importing crude from Russia as increasing prices for Russian barrels above the $60/bbl price cap, introduced by the G7, erode discounts, and make payments challenging for refiners, a government official told Bloomberg.

  • India is in talks with Iraq for extending credit to 90 days from 60 days in order to buy more from an assured supplier, the official added.
