Indian Refinery Run Rate Fell in July

Refiners operated at an average 100.4% during July compared to 104.5% in June and 109.7% in May, according to oil ministry data

  • An easing in seasonal demand has allowed maintenance work at some of the plants.
  • The refineries processed 21.42m tons of crude in July, 10.5% higher from a year earlier
  • Crude production in India fell 3.8% y/y to 2.45m tons in July, and natural gas output was 0.4% lower y/y to 2.88bcm
