consensus and an MNI survey of analysts. This follows a flat reading in
February.
- Weakness in factory payrolls, including auto production jobs, in March and a
decline in utilities production due to improving weather conditions are expected
to be negative factors for industrial production.
- Capacity utilization is forecast to rise to 79.2% after falling slightly to
79.1% in February.
