Intrum Bonds Bounce From Cheapest Levels

  • Intrum’s EUR spreads are all streaming higher on the day with their 2027s EUR 2.40 richer at EUR 63.79. WoW that particular line has rallied by EUR 5.52 as their curve reverses the recent sell-off, particularly at the long-end.
  • Intrum’s 5Y CDS mids have tightened by over 130bps today to 1740bps from a peak of 1970 on 31 Feb.
  • There hasn’t been much in the way of issuer-level news since their announced EUR 69mn bond buyback though the impact on liquidity from such a small operation is quite limited.
  • We do note some leadership changes with a new Intrum Italy CEO and a new Group CFO.
