Iraq, Turkey Start Talks To Resume Oil Flows

A Turkish energy technical delegation and Iraqi oil officials met in Baghdad on Monday to discuss the resumption of Iraq's northern oil exports via the Turkish port of Ceyhan, oil officials told Reuters.

  • Iraq’s deputy oil minister last week said there are no obstacles to resume oil flows, Iraq is just awaiting the greenlight from Turkish authorities.
  • Turkey halted Iraq’s 450kbpd of northern exports through the Iraq-Turkey pipeline on March 25 after an arbitration ruling.
