METALS: Iron ore continues to trade in a contracting range with the Sep DCE
contract trading at CNY464. A breakout is looking increasingly likely as the
range gets increasingly narrow. 
- The broad industrial metals complex hit its lowest level since August 2017
yesterday, which suggests macro headwinds are mounting for the sector, although
a potential bullish reversal in the CNY would provide support for industrial
metals, which have traded in lockstep with the currency over the past month.
