Issuance Schedule for ’24 Creeps Higher

HUNGARY
  • The 2024 issuance schedule was tweaked this morning to accommodate HUF 11.6trl of sales for this year, up by HUF 1.4trl on the previous estimate.
  • Orban’s schedule is dominated by meetings with Bosnia-Herzegovina later this week, at which bilateral relations and “topical European affairs” are set to lead the agenda. Elsewhere, the Hungarian finance minister met his Chinese counterpart Lan Fo’an, at which Varga deemed China as Hungary’s “most important” trading partner.
  • No key data due Wednesday, with trade balance and industrial production numbers set to follow over the next two sessions.
