FOREX: It has been a quiet start to the session, with familiar themes in focus.

Participants remain on the lookout for anything that could move the needle in

the trade war area. JPY has landed at the bottom of the G10 basket after a round

of sales into the Tokyo fix. USD/CNH staged an attack on the CNH7.0000 figure,

but failed to make headway below and bounced back above the round figure.

- On the data front, NZ 2-Year Inflation Exp., German ZEW Survey, UK labour mkt

report, Norwegian GDP and Swedish PES unemployment take focus from here. Central

bank speakers' list includes ECB's Coeure, Mersch and Enria, BoC's Dinis and

Fed's Clarida, Harker and Kashkari. Elsewhere, U.S. Pres Trump will deliver his

awaited speech to the Economic Club of New York.
