GILT SUMMARY: It has been a relatively uneventful session with gilts lacking

during through the course of the afternoon. Cash yields are only marginally

above yesterday's closing levels.

- Current yield levels: 2-year -0.039%, 5-year 0.046%, 10-year 0.204%, 30-year

0.582%.

- The curve is a toucher flatter with the 2s10s spread 1bp narrower.

- The Jun-20 gilt future trades at 138.04, near the middle of the day's range.

- Earlier the UK reported 233,151 coronavirus deaths up from 229,705 with deaths

at 33,614 up from 33,186. At 428, today's official death toll remains

uncomfortably high and until the figures are consistently lower the government

will find it difficult to significantly ease lockdown restrictions.
