US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: It was a deceptively quiet session, with limited data apparent,
despite headline focus on the 3.0% level in 10-Year yields.
- The 10-Year Tsy yield broke 3.0% before closing just shy of the level as the
curve moved to steeper levels in late dealing. A bid had come back into the
space as the DXY backed off in afternoon trade but this faded.
- The latest 2-Year auction tailed and the bid to cover softened. Dealer
takedown at the auction moved incrementally higher as indirect participation
edged lower.
- Heavy option volume was noted, with upside calls taking the lion's share of
activity.
- T-Notes last at 119.06, US 10-Year yields last at 3.000%.
