*Aussie opened in Asia toward the upper side of the $0.7795 to $0.7845 range
seen yesterday, where consolidation was the the theme in European and US
markets, after gains made in Asia following better than expected China's Caixin
Mfg PMI.
*Aussie eased lower from $0.7837 to $0.7805 before meeting demand. Light
profit-taking was reported by traders, spurred on by declines in precious
metals, silver down 0.65%, platinum down 0.4% and gold lower by 0.35%.
*Aussie recovered modestly to $0.7817, but heading toward the opening of
European markets trades mildly defensive at $0.7813
*Hourly resistance lies at $0.7837, with further resistance expected near to the
200-wma ($0.7860), while below Asia's low of $0.7805, support lies at $0.7795/89
(Jan2 low, Dec29 low).
*US ISM manufacturing, construction spending and Fed Minutes represent the risk
hurdles for the session(s) ahead.
