Japan Sep Exports -1.7% Y/Y; Imports +2.1% Y/Y

- Imports rose 2.1% y/y in September, slowing down from the 2.3% y/y growth last month.
- Trade balance in September was a deficit of Y294.3 billion, narrowing from the previous Y703.2 billion deficit.
- Exports to the United States and the EU fell 2.4% and 9.0%, and to China fell 7.3%.
- Imports from China fell 1.9%, and those from the US and EU up 6.8% and 4.5% respectively.
