JET FUEL
Global jet fuel demand is set for a marginal 0.2% uptick week-on-week as the summer travel peak approaches, BNEF said.
- This would bring daily global demand to around 7.18m b/d, up 16k b/d on the week.
- All regions apart from Oceania and Sub-Saharan Africa are poised to see an increase on the week.
- However, Asia is driving most of the weekly rise, up 13k b/d to 2.14m b/d.
- In China’s domestic market, scheduled flight numbers are set for a 0.7% weekly uptick for the week starting July 30.
