Global airline passenger capacity is set to decline to 117.52m seats in the seven days commencing from Sep. 02, OAG said.                                                                                                      

  • This represents a fall of 1.77% on the previous week.                                                                 
  • This week's actual capacity has declined faster than the previously estimated by forward schedule by an additional 0.8m seats.
  • Domestic capacity is down 1.7% on the week to 67.80m seats.
  • Meanwhile, international capacity is down 1.86% on the week to 49.72m seats.
