JGBS: JGB futures edged higher overnight after shaking off the weakness that
came on the back of the latest Rinban adjustment from the BoJ.
- Yields finished mixed on Monday, with the 10-20 Year sector underperforming on
the back of the BoJ's decision to trim the size of purchases in the 10-25 Year
area of the curve.
- There has been some focus on a fresh round of weakness in the spread between
JPY swaps trading in London & Japan, which is indicative of foreign players
adding downward pressure via receiving swaps, further complicating the low yield
environment in Japan and heaping the pressure on the BoJ.
- 10-Year JGB supply headlines the local docket today.
