JGBS
JGBS: JGB futures finished the morning session 3 ticks higher at 151.00.
- The yield curve is a little flatter on the day as the shorter end outperformed
longer dated paper ahead of today's 2-Year auction, mimicking the moves seen in
US Tsys during Asian hours.
- 10-Year yields last stood at 0.050% (+0.3bp).
- Tomorrow's Rinban operations in the 1-5 Year & 10-25+ Year buckets as well as
Thursday's speech from BoJ dove Kataoka provide the notable domestic risk events
this week. Markets are likely to pay particular attention to tomorrow's Rinban
operations following the uptick in the offer to cover ratio in yesterday's
operations which covered the 5-10 Year bucket.
