JGBS: JGB futures finished the overnight session a touch lower after fading into
the Tokyo close, although the super-long end managed to cling on to its
outperformance in the cash space, in the wake of a strong round of 20-Year
supply, resulting in some modest twist flattening of the curve on the day.
- The U.S.-Japan trade talks have yielded no formal "deal," with already known
issues outlined by both sides, and an agreement to meet again in the near term
in place.
- 5-10 Year BoJ Rinban operations will dominate proceedings today.
