US DATA REACT: JPM economist Daniel Silver noted the US October flash PMIs "beat
expectations, with the headline figures reaching some of their most favorable
respective levels from the past few years. The headline composite for the Markit
manufacturing PMI increased from 53.1 in September to 54.5 in the flash October
report, reaching its highest level since January."
- He added that "the details within the report were also generally upbeat and
included the strongest reading for the employment index (55.1) since June 2015.
